This poem is a meshwork of using raw and manmade materials, cultural symbolisms and divinity to best describe the infinite power that fuels this planet’s change process. There is a sprinkling of the oceanic language being heard throughout the poem in order to create an authoritative voice and perspective. Hegemony or masculine hierarchical structures that most cultures operate in are also illustrated through the use of the Rapanui statues mo’ai. And Aniwaniwa (goddess of the rainbow) is mentioned providing the female energy to mark the final stages of transition heralded by the last line that counts backwards to kore or the nothing which is the astronomical component of life beyond what we currently know.
